International Tyres Hosts Customer Training Day
At International Tyres, we focus on more than just selling tyres. In fact, we actively support our customers in developing the skills and knowledge necessary to advance their businesses. On Tuesday, 17th September 2024, we proudly hosted a hands-on training day at our Rowley Regis office. This event not only allowed customers to gain essential industry qualifications but also provided opportunities to network with peers and deepen their expertise in tyre safety and maintenance.
A Focus on Practical Learning and Industry Standards
We designed the training day specifically to help customers navigate the evolving tyre industry. Consequently, we led two specialist sessions that provided industry-recognized certifications in key areas of tyre safety and repair:
Commercial Wheel Awareness & Security Training: Delivered by Leading Edge, this session concentrated on wheel safety and the latest security best practices. Attendees, therefore, learned about proper wheel fitting, maintenance, and the risks of poor practices. By the end of the session, they earned the Society of Operations Engineers Certification, which significantly boosted their expertise and credibility in the commercial vehicle industry.
Minor Repair for Truck Tyres (BSAU159): In the afternoon, Rema Tip Top conducted an in-depth session on minor truck tyre repairs and the BSAU159 standard for approved repair methods. As a result, this hands-on training equipped participants with the skills needed to perform safe and effective repairs, leading to the NTDA RTTR License, which is crucial for roadside tyre repairs and maintenance.
Strengthening Customer Expertise with Hands-On Training
We firmly believe that practical, hands-on training is essential for developing impactful skills. Therefore, our training day delivered actionable insights that customers could immediately apply. Moreover, we tailored the experience to address real-world challenges, from improving operational safety to mastering minor truck tyre repairs. Consequently, customers left with enhanced skills and greater confidence in their service delivery.
Enhancing Industry Relationships
Additionally, the training day provided a valuable opportunity for networking and relationship-building among customers. Such events strengthen the tyre industry community, as knowledge-sharing and collaboration drive higher standards. By connecting customers with experts from Leading Edge and Rema Tip Top, we offered valuable chances for questions, discussions, and personalized advice.
Customer Feedback and Future Training Events
The feedback we received from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. Participants appreciated the structured day, the depth of knowledge shared, and the practical skills gained. Furthermore, many noted that the certifications would immediately benefit their work, enhancing both safety and service quality. Indeed, gaining two certifications in one day is a rare and valuable opportunity!
Join Us for the Next Event
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all attendees for making the day a success. Looking ahead, we plan to host two events per year – one in March and one in September. Our goal is to continue offering events that enhance customer expertise and foster partnership. We eagerly anticipate welcoming more customers to our 2025 training sessions.
