Vehicle installations
OBP specialise in creating bespoke solutions for any type of requirement. Whatever you need in your vans, we find the most cost and space-effective way to make it happen and give you everything you need to work smarter on the road. To make sure components will fit the requirements (and the van), we ‘scope out and spec’ using original measurement data from the OEM, or by creating a digital map. Once we are happy, we ensure you are too before bringing the theory and technical drawings to life. Once the component has been designed and tested, a final fitting check is done using a rapid prototype model. This allows us to check the component will sit in the vehicle as intended and fine-tune any issues. Final tooling data is then produced and sand moulds are made for full manufacture. Once we have identified the right location for machinery or racking within the vehicle, we move onto the physical design stage and build a prototype. After finalised plans are approved at the design and manufacture stage, the installation is quick and ensures fixtures and fittings are secure, and that everything works as it should. A sophisticated suite of software allows rigorous testing of components without risking damage to parts and gives reassurance that a component will withstand the various loads required.
